This darling scalloped gold mounting looks like a stylized pie crust, with big looping scalloped gold circles surrounding the entire marked 10k yellow gold mounting. This ring has a great antique look. The mount is approx. 3/4 of an inch long by a strong 1/2 inch wide. The thick 10k yellow gold band is a size 6. We will resize for a nominal fee.
The entire ring weighs approx. 4.90 grams of marked 10k gold and center stone.
A big very high dome natural deep purple amethyst cabochon is nestled in a thick gold bezel. This high dome amethyst is cut and polished to perfection. Measuring 16x12mm in size and weighing approx. 10 carats in weight. Awesome natural amethyst. You do not see these high dome cut amethysts anymore. This antique ring is a treasure looking for a home.
Showroom condition, as not a gram of gold is out of place. Riveting deep purple amethyst. Great gem, and is well worth the wait if you are an amethyst girl.
