Incredible Antique TINY French Fashion DOLL PHOTO ALBUM filled w/ TINTYPES 2″!
This is an incredibly TINY antique French fashion doll-sized leather-bound photo album filled with tiny tintype photos of various girls and guys. This little leather-covered album measures only 2″ long! It has a beautifully ornate embossing work on the cover that has lots of curliques and swirls, spine of book has fancy gold lettering or gilt whcih says ALBUM in fancy script and some more scrollwork, working clasp closure at side of album, there is some wear on the edge of spine and surface wear to leather commensurate with age, inside there are several little tintype photos of people of all ages, primarily young adults it looks like, both boys and girls. 18 photos total. Each spot in the book is filled with a tintype. There are some pages with some obvious wear consistent with age, some of the pages are loose from the spine. I would imagine that you could just glue them back in or simply leave as is. This is from likely 1900 or earlier based on the subjects within the photos. Measures only 2″ long, 2″ wide and 7/8″ thick. This would make a fine addition to your French fashion or other old doll’s trousseau or as a display piece in a vignette doll setting.
