This is a beautiful antique Cornell University plate from the 1910s or 1920s. The front of the plate reads “I Would Found An Institution Where Any Person Can Find Instruction In Any Study”. It also has the year 1865 and the name Ezra Cornell. There are images of the university grounds around the edge of the plate. The back of the plate says Royal Doulton England and Rothschild Bros Ithaca, NY USA. There is heavy crazing all over the plate. There are no chips or cracks, this plate is in very good condition!
