This antique ear trumpet i think dates to around 1900, it is made of brass and copper and has nice patina with age, there is a telescopic action to the trumpet to aplify the sound, it measures 17 inches long when fully extended and 12 inches long when closed, there is a small crack in the joint of the telescopic part of the trumpet as seen in the photo, there is a small piece missing on the ear end which goes in the ear and i think the solder on the back is possibly original, there are a couple of small dents here and there but a very interesting item
