Antique Vintage Wooden Fishing Lures-Lure Boxes-Saltwater Plugs-CCB CO.-PIKE
You are an original C.C.B. Co., PIKE Wooden lure, unused in the original box. It is the CREEK CHUB STRIPER PIKE – FIRE PLUG – FIRE LACQUER – "RAINBOW FIRE" NO. 6931. I am not a collector, as this is an estate find, along with a couple other current listings. I imagine this is a scarce find in this color and condition.
The lure is 7 inches long and still has the tag on the hook.
As the photos show, both boxes are in terrific condition, and one is darker than the other. The darker box has 7107 BT stamped on one end, and in writing, 2 oz. buck tail blue popper. The whiter of the 2 boxes has stamped P-134 2 oz. Written is Buck tl. blue popper. They are both 7 1/2 inches long, by 2 1/2 inches wide, by 1 1/2 inches high.
The lure is a blue, with a silver scale design, wooden, Creek Chub Surfster, with what looks like glass eyes. The body measures 6 inches long, and is in good, lightly used condition (see photos).
