We have serviced this watch and gave it a good COA.There are no defect’s and it is is great running condition.All of the serials are matching and it is 100% original. It is a beautiful 21 jeweled movement, featuring a gold center wheel and gold jewel settings.The original Elinvar hairspring is as it should be, rust free, keeping things working nicely, and proudly announcing its presence on the pallet bridge. The dial is free from any hairlines or cracks and is of the bold boxcar style.The crystal is glass and free from scratches, and the hands are nicely blued.
The movement resides in a Wadsworth, bar over crown,case that is an original match.It does have some scratches on the back and a couple of small dings included.The crown is marked Hamilton Railroad. The threaded covers work smoothly. Nice, tight bow.It is free of any personal monograms with only service markings on the inside of the back cover.
Overall a beautiful pocket watch which would make a great addition to any collection.The auction will start at a reasonable price with no reserve.
