with NO RESERVE is a very fine estate lot of Antique Venetian Threaded Art Glass Dessert Plates and Bowls. The Plates and Bowls are some of the finest I have seen with beautiful colors throughout, including Cranberry, Vaseline Green, Crystal Clear and Gold. I have not seen any others quite like this and believe the lot is a pretty rare find. One of the relatives from the estate thought these were Steuben threaded glass pieces, but they look more Venetian to me, and I could not see any markings on them. The Dishes are certainly worth looking into, if they are Steuben they will surely sell far under their value without that name in the title. The Plates and Bowl would be beautiful just to display in a curio cabinet or perfect for use serving, with the plates each measuring approx 6-1/4″ across and sitting 3/4’s of an inch tall and the Bowls each measuring approx 5-1/2″ across the tops by 2″ tall. The Plates and Bowls show nice Ruffled forms with very fine Threaded patterns, much nicer than my photos show. The 4 Plates and 2 Bowls are also all in with no chips, cracks or repairs, just one or two tiny nibbles to the threads on most of the pieces. I doubt you will find another estate lot of Antique Threaded Glass Bowls and Plates like this up for auction again any time soon, especially with no reserve ! We make great effort to accurately describe each item listed. Returns are accepted, if either condition, country of origin or dating we state is significantly incorrect. In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer’s remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how “small” four inches might be once in hand. Also all returns must be posted within 3 days of delivery confirmation.
