THIS IS A (10)TEN-DAY(10), NO RESERVE, AND INTERNATIONAL COLLECTIBLE BRIAR PIPE AUCTION.

PLEASE CLICK HERE TO VIEW ALL OF THE OTHER BEAUTIFUL, NEW, OR FULLY RESTORED AND RECONDITIONED HIGH GRADE COLLECTIBLE PIPES THAT I HAVE LISTED FOR AUCTION THIS WEEK ON EBAY!

Here is what pipe maker Jerry Crawford has to say about himself and his pipes:

“I began collecting pipes back in 1976 while still in College and have been infatuated eve since. Through the years my collection grew to include many high grade pipes that I had purchased on and had refurbished for myself. My journey into pipe making started a couple of years ago when the desire to make more extensive pipe repairs led to learning the mechanics of pipe making from Paul Hildebrand, a master of pipe making and owner of Pipe Makers Emporium in Arizona. Early on, I saw pipe making as a way to relieve stress as well as a great hobby. The third pipe that I had crafted won a “Best Billiard” contest, but I know that I was hooked well before that event and award. I have had the good fortune to work with and gain inspiration and assistance from world renown pipe artisans and now pursue this passion on a full time basis.

All of my pipes are handmade using the best Algerian or Tuscan plateau briar available. My pipes’ stems are hand cut from the best German ebonite and Cumberland rod stock. The airways are opened to 5/32 of an inch and tapered through the stem to the button, allowing for an easy dray and a cool dry performing pipe. The stem draft hole is polished inside to make the draw and cleaning both easier. For comfort, the stem thickness at the button is approximately 4MM.”

You are a NEW & UNSMOKED hand carved Crawford pipe. This rich dark burgundy stained “Saddle Billiard” shaped pipe is crisply sandblasted, and sports a hand cut antique yellow Bakelite stem. This is one attractive looking pipe!

I can tell you that this American hand crafted pipe is crafted to very high tolerances.  This pipe offers a perfect balance with a very comfortable hand feel. The draft is effortless. A pipe cleaner will glide to the bottom of the bowl.

Here are the dimensions: The length is about 5.0″. The bowl height is about 1.60″. The tobacco chamber is about 0.73″ in diameter and tapers down the bowl’s 1.45″ inner depth. Capacity is about that of a Group 4 size Dunhill pipe. The weight is 39 grams. The original pipe bag that is pictured below, is included.

Once again, this is a (10)TEN-DAY(10) no reserve pipe auction. I do not believe in “Reserve” or “Buy it Now” prices. I want the lucky high bidder to own and enjoy this pipe and not have him frustrate himself with a pipe that is not attainable on a price basis! Just be the high bidder at the close of this auction, and you will win what could again prove to be the best pipe in your collection!

Please read and review my ratings and comments. Check out the “ME” section after my name “coopersark”. I think that you will find this information very informative and telling! Please feel free to send me an e-mail that you may have about this pipe. I want you to bid with the highest of confidence!

I use only the best of packaging materials. The pipes that I ship have too much time and labor lavished on their restoration and presentations as well as the many of these pipes are irreplaceable works of art. I am not going to risk damage by using lesser packing. Unfortunately, this has to be reflected in my shipping costs, so please bid accordingly.

The
winning bidder will include an additional $10.00 for Priority Mail
shipping, tracking, and insurance. (Foreign bidders will include an
additional $10.00 for International Air Mail shipping.) Thank you for
your interest. Please do not forget to check out my other auctions! Good
Luck and Happy Bidding!!!
