The estate informed me that this button has been in the family and was handed down over the years. A descendant of Charles Goodyear. I have 20 more Goodyear Hard Rubber Buttons from the Estate coming and will gladly combine shipping for you if you want more than one of these. 2 of the pictures show all of the others I have. All are back marked. And all in like new condition.
This particular button is self shanked and is 3/4 inches wide.
I also have an appraisal the family had done on one of Charles Goodyear’s original desks which is in the families possession. I was given a picture that they took for the appraisal for the purpose of my ads. And am including pictures of that too to help validate these buttons coming from the Goodyear family. And Nelson Goodyear’s Trust paperwork too. Nelson was married to this woman of this estate. Any information that an expert can pass along to me would be appreciated.
