Up for the auction is a beautiful antique end of the 19th- beginning of the 20th century Chinese ox bone figure carving diorama of a sage and a geisha standing near a rock (or a small mountain) covered with trees! Lace- like carvings, outstanding work.
IT’S AN AUTHENTIC OLD PIECE, BEGINNING OF 20th, NOT A MODERN VERSION.
The carving measures 5.5″ (14 sm) high with the wooden stand and 8.5″ (21 sm)long without the stand.
Beautiful carvings, look at the pictures!
The condition of the carving is good. I didn’t find any cracks, chips, repairs, or other damages. Sadly, the carving broke off his wooden stand (see pictures).
