Item Description ~ Beautiful Antique hand blown iridescent Loetz vase signed on base, Loetz Austria in the ground pontil, circa 1900. The oil spot vase is sparkly with greens, blues, purple, golden colors and reddish hues 🙂
The vase is hand blown and stands 8 inches high, is 2 inches wide, about 1 3/4 inches across at the neck tapering to a 4 1/4 inch wide base.
The vase is in with no damage, cracks, chips or repairs, and we would note that the hand blown vase has a bit of an unenven mouth/lip with visible tool marks in the neck, rim and base from the making. There is a small little bubble glass pop near the signature in the pontil that also occurred in the making when the pontil was ground, and the vase has age appropriate shelf wear to the base from handling over the years. Overall, a very nice Loetz vase.
