This Auction is for a 1922 Illinois Santa Fe Special Stem Wind Lever Set open face pocket watch in it’s original case. This watch is in nice condition for it’s age. Watch size is a 16s. Case shows some wear and is marked The Santa Fe Watch Co. guarantee’s this case to be made of two plates of solid gold over composition and to wear 25 years. Case is in nice condition for it’s age with no dents or dings, although someone had their name engraved lightly on the back, Hurlie D Smith. The pictures do not do this watch justice. Serial number on watch movement is 3992280. This is a 21 jewel Double Roller movement that is just beautiful. I was told watch had been serviced prior to me purchasing it. Movement is clean and watch runs and is keeping good time. But I can not guarantee it’s accuracy or how long it will run since this is a very old watch. Crystal is in good condition. Dial is Clean and in good condition with the exception that it does have some hairlines on the dial by the 4, 8 and 12. Dial is double sunk. This would make a great addition to your collection.
