Description
This is an ILLINOIS WATCH COMPANY, 18 SIZE, 17 JEWEL, KEY WIND AND SET OR STEM WIND AND LEVER SET TRANSITION MODEL, 18 SIZE, HUNTING CASE POCKET WATCH IN A SOLID COIN SILVER CASE. The watch is winding, setting, running and keeping time. The movement is in very good rust free condition. The beautiful heavy solid coin silver case is in very good condition with no deep scratches or dents. The lids on the case open to the proper 90% and close tight to the frame. The front and back lid both are marked coin silver. The dial is in good condition with no chips or hairlines. The close up on the dial is actually glue used to hold the excellent, period replacement, crystal in place. The hands and bail is in good condition but the crown is worn to brass or could have been an original gold fill. The watch is all original and is in very good condition. Used but not abused.
