THANK YOUfor considering our examplary, collector-grade condition Crescent Watch Case Co. 16 size, hunter case design, 25 year yellow gold fill, pendant-set only, fancy dress case! We all know Crescent made just about the highest quality watch cases, and here’s an exemplary example of their fine craft! This outrageously ornate and elaborately engraved hunter case is in fully serviceable condition. The three covers are all hinged tight and open correctly to 90 degrees only. The lift spring on the front cover has been lightly oiled and almost opens the cover all the way – a little push with the finger finished the job! The clasp works properly and holds the cover shut. The cuvette and the back are equally serviceable, and open with a sturdy fingernail only! (Note: One of Baldy’s later girlfriends mush have got hold of this fine watch and made her revisions!!!) The original crown’s fluting is still superb for a tight, sure grip, and it turns freely and extracts properly to set pendant-set time. The bow is likewise original, appears brass- and damage-free and holds very tight to positions. The crystal is missing and will need to be replaced. This fine Crescent hunter case fits all standard-featured 16 size pendant-set-ONLY hunter movements. The case does show exceedingly, exceedingly minimal wear, including a scratch inside the cuvette, the girl friend’s “revision†outside the cuvette, and really not much else that I can detect, including no brass to see and best of all, absolutely no sign of any dents, dings, dimples or depressions! This case is certainly collector- and investor-grade all the way and will be a great acquisition for the lucky top bidder!
