Antique Tall Pink Plume & Atwood Banquet Oil Lamp Fabulous Shade
This is a Stunning Tall Pink Plume & Atwood Banquet Oil Lamp with a fabulous 12" fitter shade that could possibly be Handel but I’m not sure and it is not signed!!! The top of the font on this lamp is a really heavy brass with cherubs on it the burner is fabulous if used it was only once!! The Burner is a Duplex Plume & Atwood with a great snuff that works fantastic. This is a working oil lamp but it was changed it was electrified and someone changed it back to a functional oil lamp. There are a few issues it looks like the tank seal has been re-soldered. They also had a switch on the brass foot which they opened a hole a bit larger than the others on the foot but it’s hard to spot unless you are looking for it. You can see a spot if you flip the lamp over where they had the wire going through. I see no holes in the font so I’m not quite sure how it was wired. Other than that I see one open bubble on the stem and some factory fish eyes and bubbles in the pink glass. It looks fabulous and works fabulous it is not 100% perfect!!! but it is a rare and interesting Tall Pink Plume & Atwood Banquet Oil Lamp. I see no real issues with the shade it is in very good condition a few fine scratches in one area of the finish but no crack or chips, The lamp stands 28 1/4" to top of shade 33 1/2" to to[p of chimney. The shade is 7" tall 14 1/2" wide and is a 12" fitter, weight of the lamp is 12.6 pounds. This lamp will need to be double boxed for shipping I will add weight for this purpose.
