Here we have a felt rooster, he is an early Steiff; the elephant button was used in 1904-05.
He is a stately old fowl. Not sure about his tail feathers, it looks like he has had some ‘real’ feathers put in.
There is a bug hole in his comb and elsewhere throughout his body/wings.
Overall, he is lookin’ good and still has a lot to crow about!

I bought him at a professional estate sale, with the pictured notes next to him. I don’t know how old Edward is/was, but maybe the Rooster was passed down to him. No reserve, good luck!
