Victorian dating from 1860 or earlier. Domed and veneered in highly figured rosewood in top class condition with an ebony and mother of pearl edge. The centre piece is a silver shield with ebony and inlaid with holly. French polished by myself ,by hand, the old fashioned way. Lined with a designer pale parchment paper with a tiny motif which is perfect for the period.
