Antique 1940s Display, Comparing 10 Different Light Bulbs, w/ Ratings
…… I am not exactly sure what this Light Bulb Display was used for. On either side are a selection of ten different Light Bulbs, which you can turn on and off with a small toggle switch. Below each bulb is an aluminum holder and a label, tape to it with old yellow scotch tape. The first bulb has a label which reads, “60 watt Carbon lamp’; with other statistics. The rest of the bulbs are a 1917 Vacuum, 1927 Nitrogen, 1932 Argon and a 1947 Argon Gas, each with progressively a lower cost. On the other side are five more vintage bulbs. These have labels pertaining to the Hours of Life. The first 60 watt bulb has only 6 hours. The rest, which are made by Westinghouse, are 50 hours, then 1000 hours, 5000 hours and the last bulb, which is marked Nilco and has a 3000 YEAR life. … The blue wood case measures 6 ¾” wide by 18 ¾” long by 9 ½” tall. As you can see every bulb still works and everything fits into a travel case.
…… There is No reserve on this antique 1940s Light Bulb Display and you will find it is listed without any reserve.

:
2012 UPS & USPS PRICE INCREASES
It has recently come to our attention that the shipping costs that the calculator has been providing for our bidders have been higher than normal. We have not changed our shipping department in any way. We strive to make sure that our customers pay close to exact costs as possible. When items are packed and exact costs are figured for the label, any excess costs paid will be refunded. At the beginning of 2012 the shipping cost for UPS Ground increased 4.9% and 4.6% for the Post Office. The shipping calculator pulls its figures directly from UPS and USPS and, unfortunately, these price increases are out of our hands.
As always, we strive for 100% satisfaction and do our best to provide our customers with the best service possible. We encourage you to email or call us or concerns you may have regarding shipping.

About Us:
Rhode Island Internet Consignment & Sales is our Family-run Business in Lincoln RI. Bill Wolstenholme has been a New England Antique Picker for almost 50 years and has a true passion and love for Antiques. We began listing on almost 14 years ago, and have increased in size with each new year. The entire family, as well as a few close friends, are involved in our business.
…… Bill, is “The Boss.” He does most of the buying, as well as receiving most of the consignment. He lists the majority of auctions and takes photographs. His passion is what fuels this business and he loves his job, even though he works about 80 hrs a week! He is a true work-a-holic!
….. Lindsey, Bill’s second oldest daughter, is “Sergeant-at-Arms.” Lindsey goes to two auctions a week to buy items. She also is the head photographer and she lists auctions as well.
… Lisa, or Yaya, is Bill’s youngest daughter, and she is the “Jack-of-all-Trades.” She does anything from answering the phone to solving problems as well as photographing and listing auctions.
… The second Lisa working here, who we call “Big Lisa,” work’s full-time answering the many, never-ending, E-mails and quotes. This is a tedious job, but someone’s gotta do it!
… Up next is our full-time “Gopher”, Richard. He is Lindsey’s husband and is a huge help! He drives the truck to storage and pack & ship as well as running miscellaneous errands. He also helps out around the office wherever he is needed from cleaning & fixing items, as well as cleaning the office itself!
… Kyle, or as we call him “the Professor” is our full-time packer who takes great care in making sure each item is properly and safely packed so that it arrives safe and sound at its new home!
… Darlene is our book-keeper who keeps the financial side of the business organized. She is also in charge of the Consignment accounts including entering new items and cutting Consignment checks.
…..The newest members of our team are Sarah, Big Lisa’s Daughter and Devin, Darlene’s Son. Sarah helps out around the office filing paperwork and printing shipping labels and Devin is in training to become our full-time Photographer. They help take time off of all of Our hands so we can list more auctions.
… Finally, but certainly not least, is Wendy. The Matriarch of the family, Wendy or as the kids call her, “Gida” keeps us all happy! She watches the grandchildren while we work, makes sure we are all fed and happy and has total control over all of the Money that goes in and out of the business!
…… Together, our Family Team is a close-knit Tribe and we wouldn’t be able to run this company without each and every Member!
