This exquisite and RARE hard-to-find in this MINT of condition lovely 1915-17 Edwardian Era white linen lawn dress / wedding dress is gorgeous!.
This lovely white dress is a drop-waist in style and falls about tea-length depending on your heighth of course. This fine linen blend material is so fabulous with the white embroidery all over the bodice and skirt. The Art Deco style embroidery of white-on-white has luscious embroidered teardrops, flowers, scrolls and curlicues. There is a beautiful zig-zag white embroidered design at the top around the bodice. The sleeves have a sweet pointed hankerchief type hem which floats over the hand with dainty decadence. There are teeny pin-point (intentional) detail around the collar and hem of the sleeve. There are 11 snaps up the back of this dress for enclosure. There are 3 snaps that attach the delicate linen collar to the neckline.
Such a gorgeous design!
This dress would have been worn with a petticoat due to the sheer delicacy of the fabric.
This lovely white dress is purely delectable Edwardian couture of the finest.
Either a Lawn Dress (as they were called) or a Wedding garment of beautiful simplicity & status!

I did NOT find any spots on this lovely dress. There are 2 snaps that are missing a back — so minor for something this delectable!
It is virtually in MINT condition for its age of 100 years old.
