This auction is for a large
mens 18size American pocket watch made by Elgin Natl Watch Co. in good
running condition! Movement in marked Elgin Natl Watch Co. ,
Sn#4246057
. This dates it to about 1891!Its a Keywind, Keyset watch
with 7 jewels. The silvertone case is unmarked and appears to be silverplate, or
silveroid. It is in fair condition with dents on the back. Good hinges.
Porcelain dial is in good condition with no hairlines and an edge chip.
To set watch, must turn hand centerpost with key. Key is
included. Circle diameter
at about 2 1/8". Great watch to wear, or for your
collection and no Reserve!
