Antique Peasant Style Copper Ring Detector Find With Simple Hand Hammered Design
A beautiful simply made and decorated copper ring – and no, it’s not made from a piece of sawn-off 20mm copper piping. There is a seam which is clearly visible and it is also thicker in the middle than it is at the edges. The edges have been scalloped and a simple design hammered around the middle.
Very attractive in a primitive sort of way, possibly fashioned by a metal worker for his sweetheart.
The external diameter is actually 20mm at most and the internal diameter is about 17mm. It weighs about 5.5g.
