THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE VINTAGE BLUE MERCURY GLASS LAMP SHADE PICTURED IN THIS AD. ESTATE FIND THE SHADE IS IN OVERALL EXCELLENT CONDITION SHOWING SOME TYPICAL WEAR DUE TO AGE AND USE. THERE IS SOME SLIGHT CHIPPING TO THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE STEM/FITTER. THERE ARE NO OTHER CHIPS OR CRACKS TO THE REFLECTOR. THERE IS A SMOOTH LINE IMPERFECTION VISABLE AND (1) GLASS BUBBLE IMPERFECTION ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE SHADE. THERE IS SOME MINOR DISCOLORATION ON THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR NEAR THE BULB OPENING (PROBABLY FROM A HOT BULB). THERE IS SOME MINOR SILVERING LOSS VISABLE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE SHADE, THE INSIDE OF THE SHADE SHOWS NO LOSS. THE REFLECTOR MEASURES 9″ INCHES ROUND TO THE OUTSIDE EDGE AND 8 5/8″ INCHES TO THE INSIDE EDGE. THE FITTER MEASURES 2 1/4″ INCHES ROUND TO THE OUTSIDE EDGE AND 1 3/4″ INCHES ROUND TO THE INSIDE EDGE. THE SHADE STANDS APPROX 5″ INCHES TALL.
