Antique 1932 Pok O Reel Poker Game Trade Stimulator by Groetchen

Offering for sale with no reserve this guaranteed original
vintage POK O REEL 5 reel trade stimulator.

The machine features 5 reels that spin and line up to show
your poker “hand” – – with a card on the front that gives odds / payouts for
the different combinations of winning hands.

Being a trade stimulator and not a slot machine, the machine
does not pay off – – the winner would have to get their payout from the shop
owner.  There is a small viewing window
on the side of the machine where the shop owner could verify that a penny was
played (not a slug) – before paying out the winning hand.  There is a button on the back of the machine
so the shop owner can clear the penny from the window – indicating the prize
had been paid out.

This is the nicest unmolested Pok O Reel example I have seen.
The maple cabinet is in nice condition and retains much of the original pin
stripping. Original rubber feet are intact on the base – which is in nice
condition too. Castings have their original paint. Back door is original as is
the internal mechanism and the reel strips.
The lock and key are newer replacements but everything else is
bone-stock original to the machine.  The
wood has some serial/operator numbers stamped in (X325) at the base and back –
– but it is not offensive or distracting.

The gum vending mechanism is in place and working.  It is a bit temperamental but I think the
gumballs are a bit too big – I will try to remedy this before shipping.

Please inspect all photos carefully and watch the YouTube
video (link below) to see the machine in action. (I refer to the machine as
vintage 1940s in the video – sorry for the error in date citation).

I will box
and ship this via FedEx AIR shipping to avoid risk of damage. US Buyers to pay
$44.  International bidders please inquire
about rates.

If you are in
the greater Los Angeles area you are welcome to come inspect the machine prior
to bidding. If you are the high bidder and would prefer to pick up the machine
you can (no charge of course).

Please ask
any and all questions prior to placing a bid – the machine is sold as-is.  Review my recent feedback for similar vintage
coin op machines – .

Have a look
at my other auctions – there are several nice examples of vending machines,
trade stimulators and other penny arcade coin op machines coming in the next
several weeks.
