This is a wonderful old 1800’s ointment jar. Yet another of my lovingly collected antiques I am letting go. I paid over $50 for it, and thought it was money well spent. There are the typical crazing marks, pits, etc. typical of a jar this age. Yet overall in great condition. Very charming and a wonderful addition to your bottle collection. Claims to have healed inveterate ulcers (what???), chilblains (???), insect bites, burns, bruises (really??), boils, and bad legs. Wow. All that packed into a little jar under 2 inches:)
