I love these simple, unadorned, all business things. Serial number of 64642 puts this Gibson A Jr mandolin at 1921. Action still good all the way up the neck and there are no cracks or crack repairs to be found. Some fret wear on first 5 frets and some minor wear marks on a couple of spots on fingerboard at first 2 frets. Still playable as is, nothing needs doing here but some playing. Just restrung and the original tuners working nicely. Original bridge and tailpiece remain, however no pickguard or case comes with this old instrument. This has a pretty dark finish and some of the photos make it appear a bit lighter than it actually is. Pay by PayPal, credit card over the phone.
