is a lovely 18K yellow gold watchcase with cobalt blue and white enamel accents. This case is double sided with a center floral cartouche of seed pearls and scalloped, foliate chased outer rim. The case was made by V. John Magnin & Guedin of Geneva, Switzerland; circa 1850. It is marked on the hinged interior cover 18K, AS in an oval and G in a sculpted oval. Below these marks are the numbers 25746. On the interior, which would have held the workings is the full engraving marked; V. John Magnin & Guedin, Geneva, Hands, No. 25746, Cylinder Escapement, Eight Ruby Holes. The hinged back interior is unmarked. The watch crystal is attached but no other watch works. This case is in very good condition with very slight loss to the enamel on the case and two seed pearls are missing from the front cover. (See close-up view).
