with No Reserve: Magnificent World War II era Hamilton Military Chrongraph Model 23 – 19 Jewels circa 1942 in running condition. These Hamilton chronographs were used by our W.W. II troops and naval and air crews extensively throughout the war. Detailed description as follows:


Case:

Base Metal screw back & bezel. Case signed inside back: “Keystone Co. Base Metal”. Serial # 91177. Case signed on back “91177 AN5742-1 FSSC NO.-88-W-590 MFR’S PART NO. 37297 HAMILTON WARCH CO.” Case diameter 2 inches (16 Size). Case shows wear. Superficial scratches. Back & Bezel case threads good; crystal good (See Photos).

 

Dial:

Black dial with white Arabic numerals. Signed “Hamilton”. Sub-Seconds at 6:00 – 30 Minute Chronograph Register at 12:00 (See Photos).


Movement:

Beautiful complicated 19 Jewel Chronograph Movement with lots of nice levers and wheels to run the chronograph. Pendant Set – Serial #P15072. Movement signed “Hamilton 19 Jewels, Adj. Temp. & 3 Positions. Movement winds, runs & sets, chronograph functions good (See Photos).


Wood Box:

Mahogany box with port-hole to view watch dial. Box is hinged on back side of box with lock in front. Box size: 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 square x 2 inches thick.
