ANTIQUE CELLULOID WOMAN WITH CELLULOID SHEEP.
This is a lovely farmyard setting, and very unusual.
The woman stands about 105 mm tall. She’s holding a chicken in one hand and some type of implement in the other.
She has no crush injuries, but the back of her hat has gone (see images). Her colour and paint are obviously old.
At some stage, someone has written ‘celluloid’ on the woman’s back.
The sheep stand about 55 mm tall and are made of the same very light celluloid. Neither has any significant damage, but one has a couple of paint spots which I have made visible in the photo. Those spots may be original – I can’t tell.
I’ll be positing in a sturdy box to protect these beauties.
