Gorgeous vintage pair of curtain panels made with fine, soft cotton thread, the color is slightly almost white or ecru . I have photographed these on a red background because I thought it would show the detail better but that color is not part of the panels. These panels are from France. Hand made by a village artisan who used to make lace for costumes for the Paris Opera. This talented needle worker died in 1950 so the pieces I will be listing are about 70 or more years old.
Each panel measures approximately 40 x 60 inches. They have a straight top edge while the bottom edge has a scallop designe. There is a large floral design in the center of each panel and the bottom scallops each have a design.
These are in excellent vintage condition, there are no stains, frays or odors. I found one small spot with a couple of broken threads. Seen in picture 3. The curtains are clean and fresh and ready to be pressed or blocked and used
