Millinery Wooden Wide-Brim Picture Hat Block and Crown Spacer Block Vintage set

I am closing out my millinery business so will have many millinery items listed over the next few weeks.
This listing is for a large, very rare wooden wide-brim picture hat brim block and a wooden spacer or sizer block which can be used to create a low flat crown. They are both size 22 so no adjustment is needed when using together. In all my years of millinery, this brim block is the only one like this I have come across.
This wonderfully shaped wide-brimmed hat brim block is quite rare and hard to find. It is about 3 and ½ inches tall including the string channel, and 42 inches around at the base. It is in good condition and stamped with size 22 and the maker’s mark of AW Gordon. It shows signs of use to the finish, the word "shadow" and some initials are written on the back but it is an absolutely beautiful shape, truly functional and solid. The crown area is offset toward the rear of the brim.
The sizer or spacer block is about 1 inch high, is marked #22 and has a piece of paper stuck smoothly to the top with writing from a former milliner as to a custom hat job for a customer. Together, these blocks make a spectacular wide-brim picture hat such as those seen in the movie classic, "My Fair Lady" with Audrey Hepburn.
When considering shipping cost, please note these are VERY HEAVY, over SEVEN POUNDS before packing! I package extremely well, ship as economically as possible and insure my items so there is no worry for you. I do not take returns or give refunds so please read the description and look at the pictures carefully before bidding. The pictures serve as part of the description.
I accept Paypal only and do not ship internationally. I sell and ship within the continental US ONLY. Hawaii and Alaska have additional shipping costs, so contact me before you bid. Payment is expected within three days or item will be relisted. I normally do not put hat blocks together to ship as the package would be quite heavy and bulky after packaging and padding and they would tend to bang against each other causing damage, but since this is a set, I will put in plenty of additional packing and ship together.
