This is a BALL WATCH COMPANY, HAMILTON 999B, 21 JEWEL, MARKED BOTH 999B & OFFICIAL RAILROAD STANDARD, ADJUSTED TO 6 POSITIONS, LEVER SET, 16 SIZE POCKET WATCH IN A 10K GOLD FILLED BALL CASE. This is a very hard to find Ball pocket watch and has a three star rating which is rated “VERY FEW AND LESS THAN 350”. The beautiful highly damasceened movement is very clean and is winding, setting and keeping Railroad time. The case is a real, may not be original to the movement, 10K gold filled Ball Model case. The case does show wear through, I have not buffed or polished the case, on the bow and the outside edge of the back lid. Please see the close up photos. The case has one dent in it as shown by the close up on the back lid. The original dial is in good condition with only one very light hairline just to the right of the 6 position. The hands are correct and in good condition. The crown and crystal are in good condition but the bow has wear as shown in the photos. The watch is all original and is in very good condition.
Used but not abused.
