The Hallmarks on the Silver Box are of English Silversmiths Cocks & Bettridge and it was Assayed at Birmingham in
1810/11.
The Box is in Great Condition for a 200 year old item with a couple of small dents but No Splits, Repairs or Monograms.
Very Fine Detailed Engraving of a Drum and 2 Flags on both sides of the box.
The hinges of the Lid are cleverly hidden on the Spine and function smoothly.
Dimensions 28mm Long, 23mm Wide by 8mm Tall.
You get an idea if its size with a current UK £1 coin on top of it in the last photo (which in the
auction).
