Elaborately painted antique Early Berlin KPM porcelain gilded Cup & Saucer
Figural gilt relief handle
Completely gilded interior of cup
Heavy gilt raised scrollwork around exterior of cup and saucer
Beautifully hand painted figural cartouches in the manner of Boucher
Vibrant pink background with maroon bands and multicolored scrollwork
Superlative quality
Hallmarked: in blue glaze on bottom of both (was later overpainted in black with Royal Vienna mark)
Size: approximately 3 1/2" height (to handle top) cup without saucer
4 1/2" diameter at the mouth of cup
approximately 8" diameter saucer
Condition: wear/scuffs/scratches to gilt on inside of cup from age and use
wear to gilt on bottom of cup band
light scuffs on saucer, nothing of note
mark by bottom of handle
wear to gilt on handle top
wear on bottom band of saucer
