Cute 20 in / 51 cm Antique German Bisque Hermann Steiner HS Socket Head Doll That has had repairs TLC
She is on a Ball Jointed Composition Body I am not sure if her body is original, it maybe a replacement

She has a bisque head and she has an all composition body
EYES:
She has Beautiful Blue Glass German stationary eyes with feather brows.
FACE:
She lovely face with rosy cheeks with an open mouth & 4 teeth.
HAIR:
She has a light brown human hair wig.
HEIGHT:
20 in / 51 cm Tall
CLOTHING:
Her Dress is very nice, it looks to be hand made but it is are period, however her pantaloons are more modern and a little large.
CONDITION:
This is a lovely Antique Doll and I was attracted to her because of her beautiful face. She does have some condition issues.
She has been broken before and then repaired on her bisque head (see photos with no hair)
The person that repaired her did an okay job (not great). She already had the repairs when I purchased her.
I thought I would have time to repair her correctly bringing her back to full beauty. I thought it would be a fun project,
unfortunately I never go around to repairing her.
So, now I will let her new owner refinish her.
If you are looking for a doll to restore then she is definitely the doll for you or
if you don’t mind a doll that is not at all perfect then shes the one.
Even the bad repairs she is still an wonderful little doll and would be a great addition to any doll collection.
