Offered with no reserve is a lovely and highly collectable Ball Hamilton Grade 999 railroad watch, triple signed on the movement, the dial and the stirrup bow case. The striking movement features 21 jewels in gold screwed down settings, a gold center wheel, and gold inlay engraving. The dial is free of hairlines, but could stand to be cleaned. There is one very small imperfection on the extreme edge of the dial where it is hidden by the bezel, near 2 o’clock.The movement is in excellent running order. For the most part, the plates are clean and bright, but under magnification, several nicks and light scratches are visible, especially around the case screws, The crisp case shows very little evidence of use.
