Hi everyone, here is a vintage Bye Lo Baby Grace Storey Putman composition doll from the 1920s, composition head with tin sleep eyes that work, head turns side to side on a stuffed body, the hands are I think a very hard plastic or rubber, I believe the top gown is original there is quite a big tear in the gown by the right upper chest. There is a pin that says Putman Bye Lo Baby 1922 but I do think the button is a replacement someone has put on the doll as it is too shiny. On the back of the neck in raised lettering is G.S. Putman made in USA, there is a non working crier, I do not smell any odor, possibly dusty due to age, there is an underdress & the doll had some cloth diapers on & an old sweater that was too big not original, but I will send them along with the doll. I forgot to measure the length of the doll it is approx 14in long. I have the baby stored in a different location at the moment, so I am putting the ad up & will measure the baby tomorrow & make an exact edition to the ad.
