This is an antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver snuff box measuring 3 1/4" (8 cms) x 1 1/4" (3 cms). It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1854 with the silversmiths mark for Edward Smith. Inside is in nice clean condition and the outside is in superb condition with lovely engraving and the inscription ‘Presented to C.Watson by his son T.Watson, Sept 1956’ – it weighs 74.3 grams – please see photos and email if you have any queries – all questions will be answered between 9 am and 6 pm UK time.
