A beautiful unframed Victorian silk cross stitch embroidery of a little girl & her pet cat dating from the mid to late 19th century, circa 1880. This large embroidery is in good, clean, unfaded condition apart from some marks on the lower edge of the unworked background fabric. It would be wonderful framed or made-up into a cushion or pillow. The photos can be enlarged for more detail.
It measures about 20 by 18.5 inches (51 by 47 cm.) I guarantee that this is a genuine antique embroidery.
