Hidden Treasures is pleased to bring you an antique Pear’s Soap ad featuring famed soprano singer Adelina Patti! We recently acquired a small collection of antique trade or advertising cards that we will be listing over the next several days. According to the website marstonrecords.com, Adelina Patti was the most celebrated soprano in the world during the second half of the 19th century. She is featured in middle of the ad in a photograph. Her stamped signature is on the bottom of this 6 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ card.
This ad does have some discoloration from age and storage but has no major creases, tears or repairs!
