Gorgeous Victorian French Rose Gold filled Mourning locket with a lovely floral flower design to the front which is embedded with Turquoise and seed pearls within a polished bevel edged black Onyx.
This stunning locket is all Rose gold and it has both front and back black Onyx with impressed hallmarks to the top bail.
The Forget-Me-Not flower to the front (flower of remembrance) which is surrounded with the Onyx indicates that this was a Mourning/Memorial locket and it is able to accommodate two photo’s or perhaps a lock of hair if so desired as it is quite deep.
The locket measures 30mm in length to the top ring and it has a width of 18mm and a deep depth of 9mm and it opens and closes securely with a strong hinge.
It is in with only minor age commensurate wear as expected but it does appear that one pearl looks as though it has been replaced from it’s original.
