From my personal Collection; a
super fine old double sided 3/D puffy Griffin pendant.He’s done in the style of
the Italian masters,Cini,Peruzzi,Coppini &Parenti.However I think he
PRE-DATES all of forenamed designers,as this is a old,classic antique Etruscan
Roman design.The age/patina of this pendant is quite formadaible.He’s signed on
his tail,on both sides,unreadable today.The pendant being DOUBLE SIDED PUFFY
allows a unique perspective of the GRIFFIN,truly spectacular when worn.Hung from
a garnet colour art glass strand,which is 27″,and the pendant is an additional
2-1/2″,quite a STATEMENT PIECE,STUNNING ON~!A true antique
sautoir.

CONDITION= Signed; on the tail two cartouches on both
sides,however its unreadable today,I would guess this on 800 continental
silver,but to be on the safe side,we’re calling it silver plate.Solidling
strung,onto something very heavy,secure.The piece shows a lot of verigris though
out the pendant.,specifically one side more than the other,and on the
bail.Keeping these things in mind,he’s quite spectacular on,and LOOKS FAB-U-LOUS
WHEN WORN.The vergris confirms to one his
age/era.
