Antique Miniature Bisque Dollhouse Dolls Period Clothing Original German 3 3/4″T

Antique Here are a Pair of Antique Dollhouse Dolls/Children.  The Bodies are all Bisque.  The Hair, appears to be Horsehair, instead of Mohair.  On this, though, I am not certain.  These Dolls are about 3 3/4″ Tall from the Tops of the Headgear to the bottom of the feet.  Maybe a hair more.  The Clothes are all Original.  They are both Period and Country Dressed.  From Germany, and likely made in the mid late to late 1800s.   None of the Clothing Pieces have been cleaned in any way.  (And probably not for over a hundred years).  Much detail in the Beautiful Faces.  In their Expressions and in the Painting.  The Girls Clothing is in need of a cleaning, but I did not attempt it.  She has on little Bloomers, a Lace Trimmed Blouse and a Silk Hat with Ribbons.  She also has a Long Braid which goes down her back.  The Wigs appear very good, but should be reglued by a professional, or a person with much experience.  The Front Metal Medallion Plate/Necklace, is fragile.  The Ribboning around it is really fragile.  Her Red Felt Skirt, Bottom Belted in Black Velvet is in good shape.  The little Skirt is lined with a cheesecloth and the Bodice of her shirt is a Teal colour.  The back is darker then the front.  The little Hands and Feet and Heads are all intact on both.  The Arms & Legs, on both, are movable.  The Eyes on each one are very pretty and expressive.  Excellent detailing, throughout.  The Little Boys Clothes are of Felt.  His Hat has Faux Fur around the Rim. The Top of the Hat is criss crossed with a Red Yarn, and Bowed.  He has Tiny Buttons that are Faceted.  Two appear to be gone on the left facing side.  He has a Collar & Flat Tie.  His Wig is very well Curled, still.  He, too, will need a re application of adhesive on the Wig.  I have not tried to Brush his Clothes either.  (There is also a darker stain on one side of the Little Girls Apron).  They Display very well as they are.  I would think a Doll Conservator would be able to either clean or re establish the Doll Clothes without their losing the original integrity of their outfits.  I have loved them as they are.  Always on the Shelf in the Curio.  They are really beautiful examples of this type of Dolly.  Wealthy Children, of the time, were afforded these types of Playthings.  They were not for everyone.  Ship for 5.85    I believe the last Photo is the best representation of the Dolls for colour etc….. It was taken with flash. The Peach colour on the little Girl is a bit lighter in person.
