A Small Antique English Victorian Turned Ox Bone Lace Making Bobbin with Pink, Clear and Multi-Coloured Opaque Glass Spangles/Weights dating to the 19th Century (probably to the first half)
This lacemaking bobbin is made of turned ox bone with square pink and clear and round multi-coloured opaque glass bead spangles/weights. The bobbin is carved with spiral lines and once had ornamental brass wire attached to it in two places (this has been removed at some point). The bobbin measures ca. 3.5″ long (just the main body) without the beads and ca. 4.25″ long with the beads. The bobbin is in excellent, used condition (see photos).
Packaging
and postage to the UK via Airmail will cost £2.40, within Europe via
Airmail £2.40 (2.70 Euro), overseas via Airmail £2.50 (ca. US$ 4.00). Please note that all items above £20 will be sent via Registered Mail. This would cost an extra £3.70 (3,85 Euro, US$5.85).
All sales are final. I
gladly combine items to save postage. Please note that I charge actual
postage costs and recycle all sorts of packaging to keep the buyer’s
and my costs low and fair. I do however prefer to ship large fans and
items in new poster rolls to avoid damages to the items. These cost on
average £0.30 which is money well spent to protect the items. I accept
PayPal and International bank transfer, but
preferably in Euro. Please await my invoice before making a payment.
