**Antique Late 1800’s Silk Hand Sewn Quilt Top in Beautiful Colors**NO RESERVE!

Antique late 1800's silk hand sewn quilt top applied on cotton square backing (see pics). Each square has 4 various patterns and colors with red being the dominant color, the silks are sewn on square checkered cotton backing. This quilt has not been cleaned and there is a few pieces of the silk that has torn, pulled apart, due to the age (see pics). We are not experts on quilts and can give you only the information that we know; this quilt was purchased at an estate sale which stated it was made in the late 1800's, hand sewn, silks on cotton backing. Approximately measures 53" x 68", each square is approximately 4 1/4" x 4 1/2". The colors are rich and vibrant with many unique patterns of the silks.
