A stunning Japanese solid 950 sterling silver flask dating from the mid Showa period. The flask is plain silver with a classic Art Deco design. There is an applied gold cartouche in the corner. The flask has a screw on lid that doubles as a shot glass, and a second screw on lid that contains a cork seal. The bottom is marked STERLING 950.
The flask is a nice size and measures 6.25 inches tall, 3 7/8 inches wide by 7/8 of an inch thick.
The flask weighs 154 grams
The flask is in good overall condition. There are no leaks, cracks, splits, or repairs. There are a number of small dents and some scratches as would be expected in an antique piece. These can be seen in the photographs.
This is a genuine antique and is obviously not like new, it has a patina that only develops over time. This is a fantastic and highly desirable piece that would grace any collection.
