Antique silver 800 engraved jeweled lipstick Italian case. This is a gorgeous early 1900s Sterling Silver heavily engraved Lipstick holder or case. Has an emerald like jewel bezel set on base of the lipstick holder that holds down a Pop Up mirror as well as acts as a slide handle to raise and lower a tube of lipstick. The mirror is now gone but an easy replacement as it just slides in at one end. Entire case is engraved on all 4 sides and top and bottom with a floral and leaf design. When opened you can see this was also engraved with a sweetheart sentiment – Love to “Shorty” – and has ITALY 800 marked on top side of lipstick holder and a number 27 on another side. Measures apx. 2 3/8″ tall by 3/4″ wide. Weighs 46.9 grams.
