This is a all steel heavily riveted antique strong box or safe that measures 12″ x 8″ x 6″ with mfg mark on the front of box near lock of Goldsmith Bros Office Outfitters 77 Nassau NY. There is also a line above mark that has been partially worn off of the first part with the end of line reading in devices. Safe has properly operating Yale lock attached securely to box and two functioning keys. Metal is fairly clean with some minor surface rust showing on the bottom of safe as seen in pics. Good solid heavy ( over 10 lbs ) stout properly functioning antique strong box/safe for your gold or cash or to create a stagecoach story of your own since I’m lacking some history or a story to pass along.
