We present part of art from private collection af artist Z. Varnauskas. This man take the collection of artist Dobuzinsky ( here main part of sketches was pencil drawings by Dobuzinsky, different sketches of theatre art, and russian artist Vereisky collection of diferent russian artist art), also he bought all artist A. Galdikas collection before Galdikas moved to USA in 1940. Also he worked in Kaunas ART SCHOOL the first art school in Lithuania (1922). He take archive of this school in second war period. Also he had the sketches from Kaunas theatre museum when after reconstruction this museum moved to Vilnius, lot sketches was taken to private hands. Also he take big part of famous art collector L. Truikys collection. I bought big lot of sketches before collector Varnauskas deadth directly from artist.

Also other part are from other two collectors families who had also the sketches from this circle – artist Cepenas family ( I got big lot of Dobuzinsky sketches , it was sold few years ago, and big lot unknowns not signed art) and artist Labuckas family ( he worked in Kaunas State Theatre, here was signed orignals with museum stamps Dobuzinsky, Gontcharova ,Benua and others signed and not signed sketches). I can’t get quaranty 100% about this art, because lot sketches was made in influence of russian theatre artist, student also worked in this style. (Few works I sold – now is possible to find sold by famous world art auctions for the very big prices.) But I know that all is from period 1900-1940. Here needs to work with every sketch, needs to knowledges. For me is better to buy big lot and to sale as is. Here we don’t have good art experts of art on paper, and it not have big value in Lithuania.
