Here’s an antique wooden clock box up for bids without reserve. More than a century old, it’s made completely from wood and has a beautiful primitive look! It has wonderful, original old paint and an old patina that shows age and wear. On the right side is a hinged door with a latch and hook.
Prior to electricity, boxes like this one were hung on the wall with a wind up alarm clocks inside. We found it in an old barn and cleaned it up but its otherwise original and unrestored. The glass in the round window has a crack which sort of adds to its charm and character. Still solid and sturdy, this piece is in very good shape.
