Unique and adorable small lightning rod setup.
Off white “staircase” ceramic ball. One collar is chipped in two areas, it does not impact the integrity of the ball (see photos).
Includes a beautiful twisted iron rod with burnished, polished and lacquered copper ends in an ornate, twisted iron stand. No rust, stand must have been cleaned and painted when we had the burnishing done.
The bayonet tip is embossed kretzer saint louis and is slightly bent at the base. It is highly polished and well sealed, as are the copper fittings on the rod. The bayonet tip has some scratches on one of the three sides, under the lacquer.
Rod height, without tip 26.5 in., stand height, 17 in., bayonet point 10.5 in, ball 4h x 4.25 dia. Overall.height 37 inches.
